Bartise and Nancy had a memorable relationship that earned Bartise the title of a reality TV show villain. Nancy and Bartise appeared in Love Is Blind season 3, where Bartise made it known that he wasn’t physically attracted to Nancy, as he was more attracted to Raven Ross. However, Bartise chose to be with Nancy and vowed to make himself marriage material before deciding ultimately not to marry Nancy. Although Bartise hoped to continue their relationship, Nancy was understandably not interested. She immediately ended their relationship, and the two went their separate ways. However, the pair remained friends after their wedding, which ended during Love Is Blind: After The Altar.
Nancy Called Out Her Romance With Bartise
Nancy spoke to US Weekly in November 2022 to reflect on her relationship with Bartise. She shared that it would be impossible for her to go back to being friends with her ex after he turned her down at the altar, “And so for me, leaving my shattered heart like — there was no coming back from that.” Nancy further explained she distanced herself from Bartise to give herself the time and space she needed to heal.

“I think that the way he left me at the altar, being blindsided—I needed time to myself to really heal from a broken heart,” Nancy said. The Love Is Blind star has since received a lot of online sympathy for her relationship with Bartise, whom she accused of gaslighting. Nancy confirmed with StyleCaster in February 2023 that they are still not friends.
Bartise Bowden Is A Father After Perfect Match
Although he was called a villain for how he treated Nancy, Bartise was still cast on Perfect Match. He connected with Izzy Fairthorne, Ines Tazi, and Abbey Humphreys, though he fought with the latter two women and was accused of being disrespectful by both of them. Bartise and Izzy made it to the finals on Perfect Match, though they admitted they were not each other’s perfect matches. They are currently not dating after filming.
Despite receiving a lot of backlash, Bartise has remained active on social media. However, Bartise’s comments criticize how he treated Abbey and Ines and his past with Nancy. After Perfect Match aired, it was revealed that Bartise fathered a child with a woman from the Dallas area. While he and the mother are no longer together, he enjoys fatherhood.
Nancy Rodriguez Is Dating After Bartise Bowden
While Bartise was last seen on Perfect Match, Nancy last appeared on the February special of After the Altar. She confirmed in her StyleCaster interview that she is dating again and has cut toxic people, including Bartise, out of her life. Though Nancy appears single, she does seem to be in a great place in her life after her messy relationship. Nancy has healed since her Love Is Blind split with Bartise, while she has made it clear reconciliation is not on the table. Nancy mentioned that she does not regret going through the Love Is Blind experience with Bartise and that they both learned a lot from it. Hopefully, the Love Is Blind season 7 couples will be more successful.
