Love is Blind UK encouraged the participants who signed up for the social experiment to build deep meaningful connections to find a love match. With no element of physical attraction present during dating in the pods, this show focuses on forming a strong bond initially.
One couple who had strong chemistry on the Netflix show were Nicole and Benaiah. However, at first, they were entangled in a love triangle as Nicole felt attracted to Sam as well.
Despite choosing Sam over Benaiah, Nicole later decided to reconnect with the latter. In episode 7, Nicole decided it was time for her to introduce her partner to her parents, who weren’t aware of the show’s premise. Over dinner, Nicole explained to her parents that she and Benaiah will have a wedding day where they will decide if they want to stay together or part ways.
Upon hearing this, Nicole’s dad advised both Love is Blind UK participants to take “one step at a time” in their relationship and build their connection gradually. He further mentioned that they both had to deal with each situation with care:
Take one day at a time. One foot in front of each other. One step at a time.”

Benaiah meets Nicole’s parents on Love is Blind UK episode 7
On Love is Blind UK episode 7, Nicole’s dad told Benaiah that his daughter had been married before, which is why they wanted her to be careful this time. During her confessional interview, Nicole admitted to having her own fears linked to marriage due to her past experiences.
Her father even went on to admit that it was okay if two people weren’t compatible and the marriage couldn’t last.
“You know what you’re doing but of course, some marriages don’t work. She’s been married before and we don’t all have what it takes. to make a relationship work sometimes.”
Nicole’s mom chimed in, saying that to make a relationship work, both partners have to have “patience” for their love to evolve. She further mentioned she was glad her daughter had found someone special in her life. The Love is Blind UK contestant’s mom said:
“It’s a matter of patience. Love grows. I wish you guys all the best. I’m happy you found each other.”
“I think you’re a very decent man. And I think, um, I hope the best for the two of you.”
