Shayne Jansen is expressing his gratitude towards Natalie Lee after the events of the Love Is Blind season finale. The two of them were one of the five couples who got engaged in the pods and made it to the wedding ceremony in season 2 of the popular Netflix reality show. Alongside them were Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones, Deepti Vempati and Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee, Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson, and Mallory Zapata and Salvador Perez.
Despite agreeing to move forward with the marriage, Shayne, 32, and Natalie, 29, did not ultimately get married. Natalie decided to back out of the wedding, citing their fight the night before as a factor in her decision.
On Sunday, Shayne took to Instagram to reflect on his journey with Natalie, and he also addressed rumors of a romantic involvement with fellow contestant Shaina Hurley.
“Natalie Mina Lee. Where should I even begin?” he wrote as the caption for a series of pictures of him and Natalie together. “This experience with you is something that will always stay with me. It was undoubtedly the best time of my life, and I would gladly do it all over again just to have more moments with you.”
Shayne went on, saying, “From our first date, enjoying In-N-Out and you insisting on both milkshakes, to our walks around Grant Park. You have a beautiful soul, and you truly brought out the best version of myself as a man. As I watch our story unfold, I feel remorseful for my actions, and all I can do is learn from them to become a better man. I’m proud of being vulnerable and genuine throughout. I’m uncertain about what lies ahead for us, but I know that my love for you will never cease.”
To clarify his relationship with Shaina, Shayne, 32, stated that they are on good terms and have hung out in group settings with the cast, including Natalie. However, they have never been romantically involved, nor will they ever be. He concluded by wishing Shaina all the best.
In response to Shayne’s comments, Natalie replied in the comments section, expressing, “You have become a better man ❤️.”
Shaina, who initially formed a bond with Shayne in the pods, expressed her gratitude, saying, “I appreciate you addressing this matter once and for all! I genuinely hope that both of you find happiness individually and as a couple 🙏🏼.” The highly anticipated cast reunion, scheduled to air on March 4, will feature all six engaged couples from the pods, including a heated confrontation between Natalie and Shaina. You can now watch both Season 1 and Season 2 of Love Is Blind on Netflix.
