Love is Blind is returning for Season 7 on October 2nd, and Netflix has just announced the contestants who will be looking to find love in the new season. Among these are faces from our communities looking to follow in the footsteps of other memorable past participants, including Lydia from Season 5 and Amy from Season 6.
And though Love is Blind is anything but a guarantee of a happy ending, that doesn’t mean we won’t be watching and rooting for the contestants from our communities to find someone who loves them for who they really are.
Here are the Latine contestants in Love is Blind Season 7, which was filmed in Washington D.C:

Nick D.
Nick D., a 29-year-old real estate agent of German and Cuban descent, told Tudum that he is “the perfect version of myself right now, and the next step in this journey is to find the perfect wife.” And what Nick is looking for, above all, is a partner. “I want someone who’s going to provide value to my life and I want to do the same for them.”

Marissa
Marissa, a 32-year-old lawyer of Black, Puerto Rican, and Trinidadian descent came on the Love is Blind journey to tug on the “invisible string” she believes connects her to her future husband. “We are still on our individual journeys, but hopefully he’s here,” she told Tudum, and she really wants to focus on a journey that prioritizes connection. “Men fall in love with my looks and charms, but don’t take the time to really get to know me.”

Ramses
Ramses, a 35-year-old of Venezuelan and Indo-Caribbean descent, who works as a Program Associate at a justice reform nonprofit, is looking to be accepted for who he is. For his ideal partner, he told Tudum he’s looking for someone “who practices empathy,” and he feels very ready to offer vulnerability back and meet his perfect partner where they’re at.

Monica
Monica, a 37-year-old sales executive of African American and Honduran descent, is looking for someone who makes her feel “emotionally safe.” She told Tudum “I have a big personality and I tend to be the life of the party, but I’m also incredibly sensitive,” and she’s looking for someone who will be the support she needs.
