Hannah did choose Nick during the pods, but both seemed underwhelmed during their first meeting, and their time in Mexico wasn’t exactly smooth, either. In fact, they were rocky enough for Hannah to write out a list of concerns, where she put things like “Actions speak louder than words.” “Respect.” “Social awareness.”
Once the two moved in together things didn’t improve, with Nick seeming very immature to Hannah who, in turn, berated him at every turn—often in very rude ways. Right before her wedding dress fitting, Hannah told Nick she didn’t want to continue with the experiment, and in the reunion, the two had a tense confrontation about how rude and mean Hannah was to Nick, and also about how Nick had made references to Hannah’s looks that made her feel insecure.
That was the last we heard of it, until now, when Nick decided to add fuel to the fire. But what did Nick have to say about Hannah’s weight loss?
What Did Love is Blind’s Nick Have to Say About Hannah’s Weight Loss?
In an interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast on Monday, December 2, Dorka spoke about Jiles’ weight loss, saying, “She does look great, she looks fantastic. But the thing is, I know her, I’ve seen all of her. Just because you look attractive, that’s part of it. The other part is your personality and I know who she is and she has things to work on.”
Not just that, Dorka doubled down on his assertion that Jiles needed to look inward. “I think she needs to do a little bit of self-reflecting, but like I said, none of us are perfect. We all have our red flags. … I think she’ll find the right person — someday — maybe.”
The reality TV star also denied that he ever referred to her as a “grenade,” saying, “I never called her a grenade. I said I was underwhelmed by her looks, but all the guys were,” he said, big words as this is the first time it has been suggested any of the other guys were underwhelmed by their partner’s looks.
Dorka made the same assertion during a November episode of the “Off the Vine” podcast. “I did tell Ramses [Prashad] and Garrett [Josemans] off-camera in guy talk [that] I was a little underwhelmed by how she looked,” he confessed, adding that Hannah was never meant to find out.
Jiles has lost 75 pounds since the show came to an end, and appeared on the Love is Blind reunion looking considerably slimmer.
