“Our producers told us, ‘Just don’t sneak off and have sex because Amber and Matt, we couldn’t find them when we were filming,'” season 1 co-star Lauren Speed-Hamilton admitted
Love Is Blind’s Amber and Matt Barnett are revealing what you didn’t see during their on-camera wedding in season 1.
On an episode of The Love Seat, a new podcast hosted by fellow LIB season 1 stars Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton, the couple, who got married in the season 1 finale of the popular Netflix series, played a game of “Love Seat Confessions.”
The final question got a bit spicy, with Cameron asking where the craziest place they’d ever had sex was.
“The attic of the venue where we got married probably,” Amber quickly replied. “There was a Santa Claus in front of me!”
“Santa Claus, the one that dances,” Matt added, laughing.
While all four found the story hysterical — Amber had tears in her eyes from laughing — it wasn’t exactly a surprise to Cameron and Lauren.
“We heard about that,” Lauren admitted. “Our producers told us, ‘Just don’t sneak off and have sex because Amber and Matt, we couldn’t find them when we were filming.’”
Amber then said she knew the producers were looking for them because they could hear their names being called out. Matt even said he hit his head on the ceiling trying to hide from the crew because it was such “a tight space.”
“They were walking right by,” Amber recalled. “We heard them yelling because we were all crunched in there, we just wanted them to go away. But we literally heard them walking past like, ‘Barnett, Amber?’ And we literally stopped and froze for a second mid [sex] and waited for them to pass.”
Also on that podcast episode, Amber and Matt revealed an exciting update in their lives: they’re pregnant!
“I sent myself back to school because I felt like we were in a place where I could do that, like, I had the support and I was mentally there,” she explained, before teasing, “Then, over summer break, [Matt] just went and knocked me up.”
“There’s a baby Barnett on the way!” Lauren cheered.
“It might have been during Cam’s birthday party — it might have already been,” Amber explained, jokingly blaming Cameron’s recent celebration. “So little baby B might come out ready to throw down with us.”
“The biggest congratulations to you guys, I’m so excited,” Lauren said, as Cameron added that he’s “ready to be an uncle.”
