Love Is Blind UK alum Catherine Richards shared that she’s dating another guy from the pods after her breakup with fiancé Freddie Powell.
Catherine Richards has opened her eyes to a new love.
The Love Is Blind UK star—who was left at the altar by fiancé Freddie Powell on their wedding day—revealed that she struck up a romance with another man from the pods after filming wrapped in September 2023.
“I’m really happy. I’ve done a lot of reflecting,” Cat told On Demand Entertainment in an interview published Aug. 27. “My life has changed. I’m so grateful. I’m in an amazing relationship and I wouldn’t be in that relationship if it wasn’t for this show. So, I just have to think of the positives and the great stuff from it.”
So, who caught her eye? Jake Singleton-Hill, a 32-year-old civil engineer who didn’t get much screen time.
“I didn’t even date him in the pods,” Cat revealed. “I actually rejected him on day one, because he shared a dog with his ex.”
As the dental nurse quipped, “We’re very critical in the moment.”
But now, Cat and Jake live together, with her adding, “The dog lives with us now, it’s all great!”
In fact, as Netflix teased when introducing the cast, Jake would already be married with kids by now if he had his way.
“Among his friends, he has a reputation for falling in love quickly and being ‘a bit of a melt’ in past relationships,” Netflix stated in a teaser. “He’s never been more motivated to find his perfect match in the pods. And if any of the women can match his patient and sensitive nature, there’s no stopping Jake from walking away from the experiment with his forever partner.”
InstagramAs for Freddie? He told the outlet that he has not been dating since his breakup with Cat.
“I have stayed in touch with Cat. She is a good girl,” the funeral director shared. “We did try and sort of continue things after, but I think it was quite clear we were different.”
InstagramAnd Freddie is not the only one from the show who is still searching for the one. Maria Benkh confessed that she’s “very very single” following her split from Tom Stroud.
Demi Brown also revealed that she’s single and recently reentered the dating pool.
“I now know I’m really ready to date,” she told On Demand Entertainment. “I’ve went on one date since the—yeah, he was lovely but it was giving intense.”
As for Sabrina Vittoria—who shared on the Aug. 26 reunion that she and husband Steven Smith are no longer together—she’s pressing pause on the search for love at the moment.
“How is that conversation going to go? ‘So, I’m married!'” she laughed. “Funny enough, I’m not dating. Not really how you want to start a conversation: ‘So I have a husband. He’s estranged but I have a husband!'”

“I promise nothing less than a life of good chapters as we grow old hand in hand,” Steven vowed to his bride as they tied the knot. “You stole my mind, and my heart, and now I give you my hand.”
At the reunion, the pair revealed they had broken up over the challenges of long distance from London and Belfast.

Though these two had a strong start in the pods, differences over their values led to heartbreak at the altar.
Tom was clearly on the fence as he prepared to head down the aisle, and when it came time to give his answer, he called things off.
“I love you,” Tom told his bride. “I just feel like right now isn’t the right time for me. We’ve had some differences in values, and I haven’t had enough time to really understand how those differences would really affect our life day to day.”

We had high hopes for this pair who worked through their initial drama in Greece and seemed to be on the right track. But they weren’t on the same page when it came time to swap vows.
Though Ollie was all-in, telling Demi, “I do,” Demi called the wedding off, while leaving the door open to continue their relationship.
“I love you, but I do not,” Demi told Ollie at the altar. “Because I’ve learned to love myself in a whole different light during this journey. And actually, that’s testament to you, Ollie… I know what I want from a husband, and I don’t think we’re quite there, obviously. But it’s not, ‘I do not, I’m going to walk away from you forever.’ It’s ‘I do not, now.’”
Ollie later noted that he didn’t fault Demi for her decision, saying, “I don’t think anyone can really look down on someone for not being 100 percent certain they wanna marry someone they’ve known for weeks.”
The two shared at the reunion that they are not together and Ollie hinted that he has moved on with another woman.

Meddlesome mother-in-law aside, Bobby and Jasmine looked confident on their wedding day. And though there were plenty of tears, the pair gave their heartfelt confirmation at the altar, tying the knot without a dry eye in the place.
“We just have that special kind of love,” Bobby told his tearful bride. “The kind of love that only comes around once in a lifetime.”

No, Sam did not get an invite to this pair’s special day. Though Nicole initially went with her first pick, Sam Klein, in the pods, she immediately recognized her mistake and rekindled her romance with her second choice, Benaiah.
Despite Sam trying to cause further rifts at the cast meetup, the couple were blissfully in love on their wedding day, and happily tied the knot.
“You accept me for who I am, flaws included,” Benaiah told his bride, “which shows me you have an unconditional love.”Nicole added, “From our first hello, I felt like you were my kindred spirit.”

In a surprise to no one—except maybe Catherine—this pair did not get married. Catherine was excited on her big day, despite the couple’s many struggles throughout their brief relationship. When asked if she accepted the fit funeral director as her husband, Catherine happily replied, “I do,” but Freddie clearly wasn’t feeling the same confidence.
“I love you, Cat,” Freddie told his bride. “But the timing might not be right for us. This isn’t a goodbye. It’s not a rejection of the love that we share. Part of me wanted to say yes and embark on this journey with you, but as I look into your eyes, I know I’m faced with the truth we both have to acknowledge. There’s still mountains left for us to climb and lessons for us to learn before fully embracing a lifelong commitment.”
Freddie broke down in sobs after the tense altar moment and Catherine rushed away declaring she felt “numb” and “unwanted.”
Though Freddie expressed interest in continuing their relationship beyond the show, Catherine didn’t seem as open, saying, “I never want to walk down the aisle again. I just feel blank. I do trust, but it’s just going to take a lot for me to bounce back.”
