The series, which took off in 2020, is hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey. The show is like any other reality series — single people try to find their match and fall in love. However, this dating show comes with a catch, they must form an emotional connection without ever seeing each other face-to-face.
It takes a blind proposal for the matches to see each other for the first time. After the proposal, the couples go through a series of in-person dates, starting on vacation, and then head back to their city to try out life with their new significant other.
The show has six seasons, with the most recent episodes airing in Charlotte, North Carolina. The team is prepping for another season, this time in the Mile High City.
FOX31 confirmed the following establishments have been featured in the creation of the next season of “Love is Blind.”
Hello Darling
Hello Darling is one spot in Union Station that hosted a few scenes, which may or may not make it to the final cut when the show premiers. The café serves up coffee in the morning, and cocktails and small plates at night.
14er Brewing Company
14er Brewing Company is an indoor-outdoor microbrewery in the heart of the River North Art District. It serves a collection of craft beers and house-made seltzers.
Monolith Brewing
The “Love is Blind” cast hit another brewery, Monolith Brewing, while setting up the next season. The brewery in the Platt Park neighborhood offers a draft and wine list with a focus on sustainability. The brewery also serves empanadas as a small snack.
Retrograde
Retrograde is a cocktail bar located in North Capitol Hill. It’s a speakeasy, so you’ll have to walk through a freezer door in an ice cream shop to get inside. The cast has also been seen at the lounge while filming the series.
While “Love is Blind” hasn’t released the progress of the couples for the upcoming season, filming for the show is in full swing.
FOX31 is working on confirming other locations the “Love is Blind” cast has visited.
