Ramses matched with Marissa George in the pods, and at first, the Love Is Blind couple seemed perfect. Their conversations were incredible, and their chilled personalities seemed to show that the two were meant to walk down the aisle and then live happily ever after. When Ramses talked about gender roles, it sounded like he was ready to explore, rather than sticking to the traditional ways of being a family man.
He was willing to assist with household chores and childcare. However, his red flags started showing. The Love Is Blind cast member talked about watching the kids, making it seem like he was doing his future wife a favor, rather than fulfilling a mutual responsibility. The contradicting statements raised questions about whether Ramses believed his previous remarks, and if the Love Is Blind star only supported roles that seemed beneficial to him. However, his views continued changing as the Love Is Blind experiment progressed.
He blithely said he worked from home and would watch the children while he was working. This notion seemed detached from the realities of caring for kids, so it was unlikely he’d be able to provide realistic support. In a different incident, Ramses tried to get Marissa to use birth control. After she suggested the use of condoms, Ramses claimed the sex wouldn’t be enjoyable. His lack of sex education was surprising, making him the worst disappointment throughout Love Is Blind season 7.

Ramses wasn’t going on Love Is Blind to find his soulmate. Instead, he sought fifteen minutes of fame and a chance to expand his brand. Ramses had spent plenty of time with Marissa after their vacation in Mexico, and if her energy was too much, as he later claimed, he should have walked away earlier. Nonetheless, maybe it wasn’t just Nick Dorka who wanted Love Is Blind fame. It was diabolical that he waited for the experiment to play out, calling off their engagement days before the wedding.
