Love Is Blind season 1 stars Damian Powers, Cameron Hamilton, and Matthew Barnett reunited for a quick workout in Atlanta. It wasn’t easy, but it’s safe to say that Cameron, Damian, and Barnett truly surrendered themselves to the process on Love Is Blind. The premise of the show was a question: can love really be blind? The contestants – and the viewers alike – hopped aboard this new Netflix reality series feeling plenty of skepticism. After all, given how many breakups and divorces happen after two people meet on traditional dating shows like The Bachelor, how can getting engaged to someone you have never seen a good idea?

   

But as it turns out, the Love Is Blind format did work for quite a lot of people. The very real and raw connection between Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed was immediate. Matthew Barnett and Amber Pike couldn’t resist the chemistry that they found during their conversations in the pods. And Damian Powers and Giannina Gibelli found beauty in their combination of different personalities and backgrounds. Cameron and Lauren, as well as Barnett and Amber, got married at the end of season 1. Damian couldn’t go forward with the wedding on Love Is Blind, but he and Giannina kept on dating after the show.

It’s been a few months since Love Is Blind season 1 premiered on Netflix, and the fans are eagerly awaiting the show’s second (and third!) season. While everyone’s waiting, they’ve been keeping up with the OG contestants of the show on social media. On Friday, November 20, Damian Powers took to Instagram to share a picture of himself reunited with Matthew Barnett and Cameron Hamilton. He captioned the post (seen below), “Nothing better than catching up with the boys for a little workout!” Then, Cameron took to his own IG to share a selfie of the three of them (also seen below). Cameron wrote, “Good to work out with some old friends.”

 

Only a handful of guys know what it was like going through the Love Is Blind experiment from start to finish without having any frame of reference from a past season. As such, it doesn’t come as a surprise that these men became very close even after the show ended. Additionally, only Cameron, Barnett, and Damian know what it was like to keep up a relationship that started on the show. It is likely that these guys have been supportive and helpful to one another as they all navigated newfound fame for the first time in their lives.

The fans can’t wait for Love Is Blind season 2 to premiere on Netflix. The first season of the show premiered in February 2020, but there’s no word yet on when season 2 will premiere. With COVID-19 concerns, it’s possible that production got a bit delayed, which might slightly push back season 2.
