- Ollie connects with both Demi and Catherine in the pods but ultimately proposes to Demi.
- They seem happy together on the couples’ getaway, but problems arise when they interact with their castmates.
- Here’s what we were able to deduce about their relationship status now based on social media clues.
Love Is Blind: UK” stars Demi and Ollie overcome many obstacles in season one, but it’s still unclear if the couple will stay together.
Demi and Ollie are the last couple to get engaged this season, following Ollie’s struggle to pick between Demi and another contestant, Catherine.
In episode two, Catherine makes it easy for him to pursue things with Demi when she breaks up with Ollie to get engaged to funeral director Freddie.
During their time in the pods, Demi and Ollie form a sweet bond that differs from the more sexual connection Ollie feels he has with Catherine. But Ollie says he’s “blown away” by how attracted to Demi he is as soon as he sees her in episode four.
The holiday stage of the process starts off on a good note, with the pair being affectionate. But when they meet the rest of the cast, Demi gets upset that Ollie isn’t as affectionate in public as in private.
They resolve this issue and continue through the process, with Ollie making a good impression on Demi’s family and friends in London.
On two occasions in the second half of the series, Ollie admits that he is attracted to several other contestants on the show, including Catherine and Sharlotte, but he doesn’t waver from his relationship with Demi.
Now, all that’s left is the wedding, which will take place in next week’s final batch of episodes.
Whether Ollie and Demi actually say “I do” and get married remains to be seen. But here’s what we could glean from perusing their social media.
Did Demi and Ollie get married on ‘Love Is Blind: UK’? They’re still connected but don’t seem friendly
The good news: Demi and Ollie are still following each other on Instagram as of this writing.
The bad (or at least inconclusive) news: They’ve barely interacted with each other there at all. Neither of them liked or commented on one another’s posts about appearing on this season of “Love Is Blind: UK.”
Ollie did, however, like a post Demi made on Tuesday about her August trip to Tanzania.
Demi also has a TikTok, but it’s not clear whether Ollie has one himself and whether they’re following each other there.
Ollie wasn’t immediately visible in Demi’s April birthday or 2023 recap posts on Instagram or TikTok, so it seems like he either wasn’t present or she did a really good job at keeping him out of view (as she’d be expected to do to keep the show’s conclusion a secret, to be fair). She also has a solo shot of herself at a spa for this past Valentine’s Day alongside a contemplative caption, which again seems like Ollie wasn’t part of her holiday.
Based on the season supertease shown after the first batch of episodes, which appeared to show Ollie in his wedding suit at the altar, it seems likely that Demi and Ollie make it to the wedding despite their bumps in the road. But it’s unclear if they say, “I do,” or whether they stay together in the end.
