Love Is Blind Season 7 spoilers ahead!
If you watched the latest season of Love Is Blind, you’ll know that stars Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans were a fan-favorite pair.
Like all couples on the hit Netflix dating show, Taylor and Garrett fell in love sight unseen while communicating through “pods.”

Fans quickly deemed the pair a match made in heaven — not least because of their shared background in science and similar science-related tattoos.
After falling in love and getting engaged, the LIB couples tie the knot — and Taylor and Garrett’s wedding was pretty magical.
And when the LIB reunion aired last month, fans were pleased to find out that the pair are still happily married today.
However, Taylor and Garrett have now lifted the lid on one aspect of filming the show that was actually pretty awkward: the pod reveals.
If you needed a quick refresher: Taylor and Garrett instantly smiled when they saw each other IRL for the first time, though they didn’t talk much. In fact, the pair seemingly giggled awkwardly amid the silence as they walked toward each other and kissed for the first time.
Garrett eventually broke the silence by saying, “This is incredible,” while Taylor smiled at him and said, “Hi.”
They then kissed heavily before Taylor asked, “How’s it going?” while giggling. Garrett said, “This is unbelievable,” before proceeding to propose.
“I don’t even know what knee to get down on!” he said as he pulled out the ring. He then popped the question: “Taylor Morgan Krause, will you marry me?” She smiled and replied, “Absolutely.”
The pair then sat down and chatted, admitting that they both found it “super weird” seeing each other IRL. One of the most memorable moments saw Taylor questioning Garrett on his height, and appearing puzzled when he claimed to be 6 ft.
Well, appearing on Brandi and Tish Cyrus’s Sorry We’re Cyrus podcast last week, Taylor and Garrett admitted that they weren’t “initially” attracted to each other at the reveal.
“Garrett and I weren’t initially really attracted to each other,” Taylor said, with Garrett quickly adding: “Hold on, hold on. Initially, as in at the reveal.”
Garrett then explained that the face reveals are pretty different in real life than they appear on camera. “It’s supposed to be this beautiful, wonderful thing — it’s shocking, is what it is. It’s like lightning striking you for 20 minutes, and you walk out of there, and you’re disoriented, like you forget what she looks like, it’s crazy,” he said.
“It’s dead silent, there’s, like, 70 cameras, and you’re like, ‘OK, we’re going to kiss right now,’” Taylor said, with Garrett adding, “You can hear your heart pounding, and you’re just exhausted emotionally afterwards.”
Garrett noted that when he met up with the other guys from the show after his and Taylor’s reveal, he confessed that he wasn’t sure if he was “into her.” However, once their group trip to Cabo rolled around shortly afterwards, these doubts disappeared.
The podcast hosts then pointed out that there’s “a lot of pressure” at the reveal, prompting Taylor to joke that kissing Garrett made it way less awkward.
“When I kissed you, it was really nice,” she said. “I was like, ‘Less words, less words, [let me] make out with you.'”
