Marissa George has fully moved on from Ramses Prashad. Just a few days after the Love Is Blind reunion aired on Netflix, the law school graduate hard-launched a new relationship.
After posting a photo of their coordinated Halloween couples costumes on her Instagram Story, Marissa made her relationship with the unidentified man official with some grid-worthy PDA. “Life has a funny way of surprising you. I never expected to fall in love again, let alone with someone who embraces all my energy and flaws,” she captioned the video, which can be seen here.
She continued, “When we first met, I asked him if I was too much. He looked at me, confused, and said, ‘What do you mean?’ I simply replied, ‘Nevermind,’ and from that moment on, I never questioned my energy again. 🤎 #loveisblind and #loveiskind.”
Marissa didn’t share much about her boyfriend, but her Instagram captions speaks volumes. During the Love Is Blind finale, fans watched Ramses repeatedly cite Marissa’s “energy” as the reason for their breakup, suggesting she might be “too much” for him in the long run.
“Throughout the whole breakup—which made it worse—he couldn’t really give me a reason,” Marissa told Glamour in a candid interview about their split. “To this day, I don’t know if he really has a good reason. I think he has tried to pinpoint certain things, like that I listened to podcasts in the morning and I sing in the shower type of stuff.…But at the time of the breakup, he was just like, ‘I don’t feel at peace anymore, and I feel like our energies off and I’m gonna hurt you in five years, but I love you and want to be with you, but this is moving too fast.’”
Marissa George exclusively reveals to *Glamour* the shocking details fans didn’t see on camera—and what happened between them after the show.
Despite this, Ramses turned down her offer to continue dating without getting married. “Like, if you don’t want me to talk during a Netflix show, that’s a preference,” she said. “That’s stuff that you work on as a couple, but he just didn’t want to, he gave up.”
The law school graduate told Glamour it took her about “six months” to start moving on from that relationship—and fans are thrilled to see she’s found someone that appreciates her energy. “I knew it wouldn’t take long,” one Instagram user commented on her post. “You’re like a ray of sunshine 😭 Now you can sing as often as you want in the shower to your hearts content lol.”
Marissa replied, “I be in that shower putting on a damn concert and my man is right there singing with me lol.” We love that for her.
Hop off that poolside duck, grab your gold goblet of wine, and let’s get into it.
