Love is Blind season eight will take place in Minneapolis. Where will the show be filmed next?

The reunion welcomed back previous cast members including Jessica Batten (Season 1), Nancy Rodriguez (Season 3), Bliss and Zack Goytowski (Season 4) and others. Accompanying them were three new faces to the Love is Blind franchise — cast members for season eight.

During the reunion special, co-host Vanessa Lachey announced the upcoming season will take place in Minneapolis and premiere on Valentines Day 2025, marking the show’s five year anniversary.

What is Love is Blind about?

Love is Blind is a dating experiment which follows a group of single men and women in their journeys to find love “sight unseen.” The singles start off by testing their emotional connections through various dates in pods, never seeing the other person face-to-face.

Once an emotional connection has been formed, the two singles decide whether to get engaged. Once engaged, they are whisked off to a couples retreat to determine if their physical connection is as strong as their emotional one. It is at this stage where many couples decide whether to call the relationship quits.

Following their romantic getaway, the remaining couples continue the experiment by living together in the “real world.” This stage often proves to be the most challenging, as the couples must now determine if their connections are strong enough to withstand the challenges that exist within committed relationships, such as social media, friends, family, partner expectations, domestic responsibilities, and finances.

The show concludes with the couple’s weddings, where they are asked to decide at the altar if love is truly blind.

Will there be a season of Love is Blind in Nashville?

Back in August of 2023, Kinetic Content announced a casting call for Nashville singles. However, no official plans have been announced for a season in Music City. The Tennessean reached out to Kinetic Content and will provide any updates once more information is made available.

How to apply for Love is Blind?

Love is Blind is currently accepting applications. Singles looking to find love in the pods may do so by filling out an application online and submitting a 15-second video on why they should be casted.

Interested singles must be at least 21 years old and legal U.S. residents.
