Love Is Blind’s Ashley appeared to defend Tyler—who she married on the season seven finale—over his shocking confession to having three “sperm donor babies” in a trailer for the Oct. 30 reunion.
Ashley Adionser is willing to turn a blind eye to the drama.
The Love Is Blind alum seemingly spoke out about rumors circulating over the revelation that Tyler Francis—whom she married during the Netflix series’ season seven finale—has three “sperm donor babies,” a shocking confession shared just two weeks before they tied the knot.
“Who has better insight into what’s going on?” Ashley said during a Oct. 28 trailer for the show’s reunion special, which airs Oct. 30. “Social media or me?”
As for Tyler—who has since faced backlash for not being publicly forthcoming about the nature of his relationship with his two daughters and son—he wanted to keep the whole situation out of the spotlight. As he put it later in the clip, “I don’t owe anyone an explanation but Ashley.”
And while Ashley seemingly comes to Tyler’s defense during the reunion, the 32-year-old initially questioned their relationship after receiving his admission.
“We had such great communication, and I don’t understand how two weeks before our wedding, you drop this kind of bomb,” Ashley told him during season seven’s ninth episode. “I’m replaying and thinking of every conversation we’ve had where this could have been brought up, and I’m thinking, ‘Why?’”
Noting that she wasn’t upset by him “trying to help a couple have kids,” she added, “I think that’s admirable in certain ways, but the issue comes in with me feeling like I was not getting the full picture of you.”
And Tyler understood why she had doubts at the time, explaining that the “last thing” he wanted was to lose her trust.
“I’m not asking for forgiveness; I’m just asking for a chance,” the 34-year-old replied during the episode. “I would love to marry you. I do want a family with you. I’ll get you whatever you need to feel comfortable and safe.”
Tyler added, “At the end of the day, like I said, I respect you and I want you to be happy.”
