Love Is Blind Habibi star Hajar has surely made heads turn as mentioned in her bio, but the reason is not just her fashion choices. The 29-year-old Project Manager from UAE got engaged to Simo in the pods. However, the couple did not last long, and parted ways from their vacation in Dubai. Simo left the show without informing Hajar, and she was informed by the team of the show, once he was gone.
Hajar called him a coward and expressed that she did not deserve her. Fans have criticized Simo’s behavior on social media platforms and called him a red flag. On the contrary, some fans believed that Hajar was delusional and had unreasonable expectations from his future partner. Fans called her out on her actions, especially pointing out the way she behaved with a waitress during a date in the show.

Love Is Blind Habibi stars Simo and Hajar bonded over their Moroccan roots, and got engaged in the pods. However, when Chafiq and Simo got into an ugly fight in episode 4, Hajar stood unbothered, as she was angry with Simo. Earlier, in episode 4, Hajar was upset that Simo intervened in her issue with Noor, which did not sit well with her.
When Chafiq and Simo got into a tussle, many other fellow castmates came to calm Simo down. But, Hajar stood with Noor, as she did not want to go and talk to Simo. In episode 5 of Love Is Blind Habibi, Simo was disappointed with Hajar and told the cameras that he could not be with someone, who was unbothered by his problem. Therefore, Simo decided to leave the show and called off the engagement. Hajar was informed by the crew of Love Is Blind Habibi that he had left.
Hajar told the cameras that it was Simo’s loss. Also, the audience got to see a flashback from a previous episode, in the pods, where Hajar mentioned that walking away without a reason was a big no for her. So, she decided to walk out and said:
“This to me is childish. It shows he is not ready for the responsibility.”
