Fans of Love Is Blind had things to say about one couple not getting picked to go to Mexico on season seven because they thought it would be good TV
Love Is Blind season seven is partially out and fans are annoyed that one engaged couple wasn’t followed out of the pods.
The Netflix reality show helps singles find love without seeing each other until after their engagement. Single men and women talk to each other in pods, where they face a wall and only hear the other person’s voice.
Drama develops as love triangles and red flags are unfolded. After the couples get engaged, they head off to Mexico for a small vacation before returning to the real world.
But not all couples who get engaged are followed to the altar. Producers of the show pick six couples to follow while the others just live their lives
Leo and Brittany’s journey ended after the pods
While this has been known, fans got upset as they followed the journey of Leo and Brittany. The two got engaged and had their big reveal of what they looked like, only for on-screen text to reveal that they weren’t picked to go to Mexico.
In the on-screen text, the show revealed that the two went on their own vacation to Miami together, where they ended things. Fans were enraged as they took to social media to share their thoughts.
“‘Leo and Brittany weren’t one of the 6 couples picked by the producers to go to Mexico’ then why tf did y’all give them so many screen time?! And waste our damn time watching their forced a– connection?!? #LoveIsBlind,” one wrote on X formally known as Twitter.
Another fan recalled the difference in Leo and Brittany’s reactions after they saw each other. Leo couldn’t believe how gorgeous Brittany was while the latter told the cameraman in her confessional: “What have I done?”
About this difference, one fan wrote: “This would of been PEAK tv! I don’t pay for @netflix for this nonsense.”
“The fact that we saw so much of Leo in the d— pods and they didnt even make it to Mexico just really pmo,” another chimed in, “Yall could have at least let us witness the s— show.”
The six couples that were followed after the pods include Taylor and Garrett, Ashley and Tyler, Hannah and Nick, Monica and Stephen, Alex and Tim, and Marissa and Ramses.
