Netflix released Love is Blind UK episodes in two batches, with one more batch yet to be released. The first five episodes premiered initially, followed by a second batch of episodes 5 to 9 on August 14, 2024.
Love is Blind UK episode 9, titled, “He Wants a Prenup,” focused on Catherine and Freddie as they discussed their potential future together.
The ninth episode of the popular dating reality show featured the engaged couple, Freddie and Catherine, meeting the latter’s friends. They discussed various topics, including Freddie’s profession, wedding preparations, Catherine’s outing nature, Freddie’s prenup wishes, and more.
Later, when Freddie went to get drinks, Catherine told her friends that Freddie wanted to have a prenup.
“We were talking about, obviously, when we get married, if we get married, and he’s decided he wants a prenup.”
Love is Blind UK episode 9: Freddie wants a prenup
Love is Blind UK episode 9 saw Catherine, a dental nurse from Jersey, and her fiancee Freddie, 32, from Manchester. The episode featured the couple’s meeting with Catherine’s friends, Tally and Dot.
Seeing Catherine and Freddie together, Catherine’s friend Tally said she expected Freddie to be “really, really pale.” Later, the discussion turned to wedding planning and related topics; Catherine shared it was “stressful” for her.
Later, in episode 9, Catherine asks her friends’ opinions of her fiancee when Freddie goes to get the drinks. Her friend Dot thought Freddie was a nice guy.
Catherine revealed Freddie had decided that he wanted a prenup and asked her friends whether she should be worried about it. Tally found it “a bit controlling.”
The Love is Blind UK star added the house would go to Freddie’s sister. The girls then discussed what was in the contract, and Catherine’s friends asked if she had already signed the prenup, to which Catherine said no. Tally shared,
“Say, like, in 20 years time, you’re happily married, love the guy. You’ve got two kids. That worries me that you never know what life brings at you.”
Dot asked whether Freddie wanted to “potentially separate,” and prenup was a sign of the same.
Differences growing between Catherine and Freddie on Love is Blind UK
The sixth episode of the show featured Catherine and Freddie discussing their past relationships. Upon Catherine’s questioning, Freddie revealed he had cheated in the past. Love is Blind UK star also added that it was the biggest mistake he made and that he regretted it.
Since Freddie admitted it, Catherine had her doubts about her fiancee. Catherine confessed she believed in the phrase, “Once a cheat, always a cheat.” The couple was later seen struggling with each other for some time since this incident.
The seventh episode of the social experiment saw Catherine meeting Freddie’s family. It included his parents, sister, and a younger brother. His family loved Catherine, but Freddie’s sister expressed some concerns and told Freddie in a private conversation that “something was not quite right.”
Both Freddie and Catherine have been facing such tiny yet vital things since they left the pods and got engaged. Soon, fans will know more about the couple’s decision either to walk down the aisle and vow to be on each other’s side forever or part ways in different directions.
