In a recent podcast episode, Iyanna McNeely expressed her belief that if the cameras had not been present, she and her team would have had more time to find a solution to their problem.
Iyanna McNeely, cast member of the popular reality TV show Love is Blind, has discussed her recent divorce from her co-star Jarrette Jones on the Diary of An Empath podcast. McNeely revealed that although she is coping well with the split, she is apprehensive about the premiere of Love is Blind: After the Altar on September 16th. She explained that the looming spotlight on their marriage was a factor in their decision to separate. “We’re going to have to explain ourselves, we’re going to have to relive everything that was put on TV,” she said. “It was more of a push to kind of just make a final decision, is this going to work or not?” McNeely believes that if they had not been under the pressure of the show and its subsequent spin-offs, they may have had more time to work on their issues.
In the latest episode of her podcast, Love Is Blind star Iyanna McNeely revealed that she went to bed crying after receiving hurtful comments from fans following her announcement with Jarrette Jones about their separation. McNeely said that she should have turned off the comments in the beginning like Jarrette did. She added that people are mean and making assumptions about people they don’t know. She also mentioned that basing opinions on their combined screen time on a 10-episode show and using that excuse to explain a year-and-a-half relationship is annoying. McNeely learned her lesson and turned off all her notifications. Two weeks ago, the couple announced their split via Instagram, citing that their lives are going in different directions. The statement said that coming to this decision was far from easy, and they will always wish each other the best, and thanked their loved ones and the Love Is Blind family for their support.
